Pauline was born in in Somerset and grew up in the West Country, but has lived in London for over forty years. After graduating in Fine Art from Portsmouth Pauline did an MA in Print Making at Chelsea College of Art before training as an art teacher in Birmingham. Pauline recently retired from teaching and since 2010 has had her studio at Barbican Arts Group Trust's Blackhorse Lane Studios in Walthamstow.  

Pauline works in a variety of two and three dimensional media. She paints predominantly in oils and acrylics and she also enjoys the medium of print making. Much of her work is figurative and her subjects are at times humorous, sometimes dark.

Exhibitions 

Barbican Arts Group Trust holds annual Open Studios and participates in Walthamstow's Biennial Art Trail.Pauline is currently one of several B.A.G.T. artists whose work is for sale in Barbican Library, London as part of a limited edition of prints.
